I wrote zeros to my hp pavilion 5300 notebook to resolvw some problems and I lost my wifi / wireless capability. Do I need to reinstall this somehow. I used the disks provided by hp to reinstall everything else. I drive truck and use the "flying J" WIFI t
o look for loads for my business. Normally, I prepay $5 for a 24 hr session and my wireless is on right away. All I do is enter the card number and time frame and it's on.

Perhaps you'd care to expand on "I wrote zeros to my hp pavilion 5300
notebook to [resolve] some problems"?

my homepage for google was infected with some unwanted porno wording. (I have a 12 y.o.) Also laptop was real slow
booting up. I had all kinds of popups all the time. After I used the disks provided to reprogram, the problems were resolved
leaving the wireless inop.
