Is this sudden/new behaviour or an ongoing problem? Have you tried
uninstalling the mouse, rebooting, and then reinstalling it?

Hi,

Since you are using a wireless mouse, you must be having a PS2 plug, Use it since you are leaving it idle and it cant be used for anything else. Use the USB Ports for other items.

Even i am using Microsoft Wireless Explorer and it works perfectly without giving problems. It is attached to the PS2 port.
