Does anyone knmow how to stop microsoft outlook
newsreader searching for hyperlinks? After I download a
long message, it tries to find hyperlinks in a binary.

This might be due to fact that the binary has been split and thus needs to
be combined and decoded (select the all the parts of the message and then go
to Message/ Combine and decode)

Not very elegant, but I think if you turn off the preview pane before downloading, you won't have
this problem.
