windows explorer shutdown

I have XP Pro and my windows explorer suddenly shuts down
itself and restarts several times a day wnen I'm using my
computer.It gives a message saying "shell stopped
unexpectly and started again.Resource:winlogon"What will
be the problem and can I fix it?Thanks.
