Hi,
What are the "various BCP codes"?
What type of drive does Device Manager indicate as faulty?

Hi,
If it's on-again/off-again, then the problem may be faulty hardware. I can
find no specific reference for WinXP on the error code, but on other NT
systems it's related to a hardware fault. You may need to bring the system
to a shop for testing unless you have spare known-good parts lying around
you can use to try and isolate it.
