I am using CopytoDVD and an Optowrite DVD RW to author
DVD Video. I had no problems until today when I
dissabled the autoplay feature on the DVD player. I
stopped DVD video disks being opened automatically by WIN
DVD 4 when inserted.
Now when I insert a blank DVD disk WinXP renames my drive
from "DVD RW" to "DVD ROM" and CopytoDVD either doesn't
think the drive is a writable or doesn't think the disk
is writable. In any case I cannot burn any more DVDs!
I have tried restting the autoplay setting, unistalling
the drive and the ide drivers, and looking elsewherein
the knowledgebase.
I think others have had the same or a related problem.
Does anyone have the answer?
