Could someone explain me why this pops up. Page one is
always available, but asking for any other page by number
of by cursor has a succes rate below 10% and I get this
msg "Newsgroup not available".
This applies to the "General" Newsgroup especially, but to
others as well. Hopefully I will receive an answer on thsi
group before the question drops onto page 2 and therefore
risks becoming unavailable as well.
Thanks,
Pierre

There seems to be a few problems with the web interface at the moment.
You would be FAR better off using OE as a newsreader rather than the
horrible web interface.

You are using a web interface (CDO) as your newsgroup newsreader. That
problem would not exist if you were using a good newsreader, such as Outlook
Express.

Hmm - not sure a lot of people would put the words "good " and "newsreader"
and "Outlook Express" in the same sentence - "convenient" newsreader would
be more appropriate I think ;-)

You of course don't have to like OE. Personally I think it is a great
package, and have never had a problem with it.
So have lots of other, very knowledgeable, people.
