Folders will not open within the same window.

Anyone ran across this problem.
The folder options are set to open within the same window
but it just keeps opening new window after new window.

I even restored the defaults and it still opens multiple
windows. Is there anyway to reset this so that it works?
Possible registry key I can change?

Hi Eric,

I read the solution somewhere in this newsgroup
Go to windows explorer>Tools>folder options>view>click on" display simple
folder view. I can be wrong, but try it once.
