xp hides things in toolbars

[PJ Lightning]

Is there anyway to stop xp hiding things in the toolbars?
I keep hitting the wrong commands because I'm used to them
being in a certain position on the toolbar but then xp
hides them so if I'm working quickly and just click where
I'm used to them being I get something else and then have
to redo work. Or else I have to waste time expanding
toolbars I'm less familiar with to find the
commands/programs I know are there somewhere.

Right click the toolbar>select properties> and uncheck the box for hide
inactive icons at the bottom of the window.
