My camera wont work

I have a sony DSC-P30 camera and I am having a problem
with it comming up. When I hook it up to my USB port the
hardware installation deal comes up in the bottom right
hand clock center but it says that the device is unknown
and I can not get a driver for it anywhere cause everyone
including sony says that XP has built in drivers for the
camera. What should I do?

I did a google search and came up with these sites.
Have you tried going through the add new hardware wizard.
Perhaps you are better off posting this to the Photos NG.
