Installer Problems

Unable to complete installation of some software. E.g.
Eudora 6.03 (installation fails), National Geographic
Maps (installer locks). No help from software mfgs.

Have you tried installing using the Program Compatibility Wizard? I'm not
familiar with the version numbers of those programs. But, if you used them
with a prior version of Windows, maybe they're not fully Windows XP
compatible? Ergo, installing using the Program Compatibility Wizard, and
using the option to install from the CD using Windows 98 Compatibility mode.
(Start button/All Programs/Accessories/Program Compatibility Wizard)
