Help - can't see jpgs in Outlook Express

Hi,
In emails, I can't see jpgs that are not sent as an
attachment - they show a blank square with a red cross in
the left hand corner. I think this may have to do with
updating a microsoft patch but I have restored my IE to
an earlier version and still can't view the jpgs.

Tools>Options>Read Tab>Uncheck: Read all messages in plain text.

But it is more likely, the jpg's aren't sent to you correctly.
