Hello friends!

I'm using Windows Messenger version 4.7 (4.7.2009) on my DEL Inspiron 4150
preloaded OEM version XP Professional with all updates.

My WM itself have created a group named *Individuals*, I don't like this
behavior, this is my note-book, I should have all the control on it's
functions; I'm unable to understand why the hell this WM and, or it's server
is creating useless contact groups in my account.

Moreover, it is restricting me to remove such groups; there is no way to
clean up all the removed and, or blocked contacts in this WM client.

Plz help me in removing all such unwanted contacts and, or groups.

Thanking you in anticipation,
Regards,

Greetings,

The Individuals group is part of some upgrades that are going on with the .NET Messenger
service and as such, are actually by design. You cannot unfortunately, remove it.

Sorry to say that, it is poor, useless, forcing and, or annoying design
feature.
What could be a use of this to end-users like me?

Hi,

Unfortunately the details of this new functionality aren't fully available yet, there will be
a knowledge base article on it in the near future however.
