Hello.
All of a sudden, and without any apparent interaction
from me, I have lost the downloading Progress Meter at
the base of my Browser page.
In case I have described this badly I mean the bar that
shows the % download progress and is located at the base
of every Browser window.
I now have a plain window with nothing but a base-line at
the bottom.
I have minimised and maximised the window.
I have deleted all cookies and on, and off, line content.
I have used disc cleanup and defragged the drive.
I have closed down and restarted my PC.
No improvement.
Can anyone help me in restoring the download progress
meter?
I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Dave,

While in IE: choose View > status bar (I presume itīs called status bar, but
I have a Dutch version. Itīs the second option in the view menu.)
Select it and your status bar, with the download bar is back.

Best of luck,

Ben
