View Full Version : Access denied?

I just upgraded to XP Pro, with only one user defined, and
I've discovered that if I move files (eg. newly created
Word files) between subfolders in the My Documents folder
(or to the desktop and back), they become inaccessible -- I
get an "access denied" error if I try to open, copy or
delete them.

These files are not "read-only" according to their
Properties window.

I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that the
My Documents folder is described as a System folder,
because this problem doesn't seem to occur in other c:
folders that I have created since upgrading.

Can someone help me? Thanks!
