In IE, tools, Internet Options, advanced tab, scroll down to Security, see if you
have a check mark next to "Empty Temporary Internet folder when browser is closed".
On the General tab click settings, click view files, the temp folder will open.

Oxy;
To look at 'em.
Start | Run | Type: %TEMP% | OK
Click the Folders icon on the Toolbar to
show the tree view.
To find out for sure what your temporary path is.
Start | Run | Type: cmd | OK |
Type: set | ENTER
Look @ TEMP & TMP

Hope this helps. Let us know.

Oxy;
Yep. If something is in use, Windows won't let you delete it.
However, if you are in the process of installing software, don't delete
until after you have rebooted and the software is fully installed.
