Just installed Win XP Home after upgrading memory. was
using Win 98. Each time I try to import my settings, i.e.
address book for Outlook Express, "Favorites" for IE, I
come up with nothing. It is as if the PC cannot find any
of these files. I know that they are there on the agrd
drive. Any suggestions on how to locate them? I have done
several searches, for example, for "bookmark.htm" for my
IE favorites. And, I have asked the computer to locate my
address book. All to no avail.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Deb

"Deb;
Try a Search for *.wab (Windows Address Book).
For good back-up info go here:

For OE Backup, have a look here:
