Hey all
I recently installed Xp Pro on my PC and after sitting there starring at the
screen for this system's Agonizingly long install time.
It giving me all kinds of Hoops to Jump Through.
I go to install My favoret game UT 2003 and I realise the Defult drive
Volume letter is F:
How do I change that...........
Win 98 SE allowed you to change it but you had to Restart.
How do I change My boot Volumes Drive Letter....
I have looked at all the help instructions and even tryed diskpart.

What do I need to do......
I am not going to keep reassigning drive numbers when ever I want to
install.......
Insidently I have no Idea How it was so fare down?

You cannot change your system drive's letter after installation. Too much
stuff is hard-coded to it post-installation.

If you want to change another drive's letter, use Disk Management.
- Click Start
- Right-click My Computer and go to Manage
- Select "Disk Management"
