If you mean plugging the computer into hydro and
restarting, I have plugged it in and recharged the
battery, but I can't turn the computer off, so I can't
turn it on. Any other ideas.

Linda,

Remove the battery and leave it out for about 10 minutes. Reinsert it and
see if the system will respond.

Linda,

I should have mentioned that you need to have the laptop unplugged when
removing the battery and during the time it is removed.
