Access is denied error when trying to install a printer

I am having the same issue. I checked the knowledge base
and found the following document pertaining this issue:

Use System Restore to go back a day or so to when it all worked correctly.

Alternatively, try starting the print spooler.... from the command prompt,
type

net start spooler

(and hit enter)
