I have used fax successfully in the past via the built in modem in my Compaq laptop and a standard dial up line. I have also accessed the internet via a usb to serial to cell phone connection to my Kyocera 6035. Since I no longer use a standard telephone
, I would like to be able to send a fax thru my cell phone. I have not been able to change the existing driver to use my cell phone modem. The fax driver doesn't list the cell phone modem, even though it shows in the modems list in control panel. Any s
uggestions?

You'll have to contact your cell phone company and see if this is even
possible.

Maybe I went into too much detail. Please look at it this way. I have two modems available on my machine, and they both show up in control panel under "phone and modem options",modems. My version of Microsoft Fax Console, V5.1,SP1 is installed with one
of these two modems, the internal modem assigned to COM3: . The help I am asking for is how to get the FAX console to use my external modem assigned to COM4: . When I go to tools, configure fax printer, devices, only the internal modem is listed. Why
isn't my external modem on COM4: Listed?
