Ihave Norton Internet security 2004, but the live update
is not working infact it just shows a red X and says try
again later. That was several days ago, and after this
time lap it says I should re install Live Update. I can
uninstall live update, but how do I install it again on
its own without reinstalling the whole internet security
2004 system. Thanks Alan.

Some applications have the ability to install specific components if you
insert the setup disk with the application already installed. Usually, this
brings up a setup screen with options to remove, reinstall or reinstall
specific components. If that does not happen in this case, my advice is to
remove the entire application and reinstall it.

If that doesn't resolve it, you need to visit the Symantec website,
www.symantec.com and contact their tech support. NOTE: they may have
newsgroups onsite that might be able to help as well.
