program hijacking my modem

Hi,
I have loaded a media program which keeps accessing the
net. It would bring up the modem connection box whenever I
start the computer. How do stop the porgram from
hijacking my modem connection. I have Zone alarm and
Sygate. they both seems not to do anything. meantime,It
slows down the computer significantly.

Uninstall the program or put ctrl, alt and del keys simultaneously and end
task that program.

You can remove that program from startup also.

click start
click run
type msconfig
click startup tab
Deselect that program
Apply that setting
Restart your system.
