Are you sure that the two computers can communicate with
one another? Simply plugging in a cross-over cable will
not be enough if they are not configured to use the same
protocol and that protocol needs to be properly
configured. You are probably using TCP/IP and I believe
there is information in the help tool for setting up a
home network. There should be information in the Windows
Help for networking 2 or more computers. This needs to be
the first step before you can run the file and transfer
wizzard.
