I am running winXP on an ASUS A8N8X Deluxe MB with a
Geforce FX-5200 video card. The video card is never
recognized by XP. In fact there is no display adapter of
any kind listed in device manager. I have loaded and
installed the latest version WinXP video drivers from
NVIDIA and from ASUS. In neither case did XP seem to
recognoze the existence of the device. Otherwise video
seems to work fine at resolutions up to 1600 X 1200. But I
have no NVIDIA control panel available. There was no help
at ASUS or NVIDIA website, and i cannot find a website for
the maker of the video card (S-Media). I'm completely stuck!

Can't find any A8N8X motherboards on the Asus website, so I'm hoping you
mean A7N8X..... the motherboard drivers are at
http://usa.asus.com/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=A7N8X

Second from last.... the NForce2 driver should hopefully do the trick.
