View Full Version : Going back to single user

When the technician set up Windows XP on our new computer,
we did not understand the implications of having several
users. It has turned out to be too complicated and
unsuited our situation. Even though I have deleted all
but "All Users" (it's an administrative account), a lot of
the files I use still go to folders assigned to one of the
former users.

I wonder if my only option is to reinstall Windows XP.
Since I am not an expert, I fear that this might
be "biting more than I can chew." Where is there
information that would help me with this?

You need at least ONE User. "All Users" is NOT a user! You must log in as
Administrator and create one user with Admin privileges to use on a
day-to-day basis.
