cannot view any videos [Archive]

View Full Version : cannot view any videos

I cannot view any online/offline videos using Windows
Media Player/RealOne etc but I can hear the sound of the
videos. Is it the codec problem or Java or my internet
connection??

I experienced similar difficulties. It may have something to do with your "acceleration" setting, which should be at "full." Right click on desktop. Click on Properties/Settings/Advanced/Troubleshoot. Then advance acceleration lever all the way to the r

I'm having the same problem now.
The thing is, when I first downloaded the video I could watch it fine. After a week I put it onto a CD and gave it to a friend and it worked fine there. But now when I try to play the file, both on the hard drive and cd, I only get sound.

My acceleration setting is at 'full'. but still cannot
view the videos but sound only. Is it my codec problem?
I have Windows Media Player Seris 9 all updated. please
help.
