Simple Mouse Problem

Have 2 computers with XP installed on both and intellimouse
explorers mice on both.Now with one I can open the next post
or previous post in Newsgroups using the large and small
buttons on the left side but for some reason I cant do it
on the other computer.

Any suggestions ?

The button configuration is not the same in both set-up. The addidtional
buttons on the Intellimouse Explorer can have different "assignments"
with-in the Intellipoint software.

seems to be incorrect settings, so please check the mouse settings in Control Panel or try reinstalling the drivers
