View Full Version : Uninstalling windows XP prof when underlying OP was XP home ED

I read all the articles about unistalling XP and they say
you can't if the previous was XP Home edition. Any way
around this.

Nope! You have to re-format the HDD.

Hi,

No, WinXP (either version) is an NT system. When you upgrade an NT system,
there is no going back. Uninstall is only allowed when upgrading from a
Win9x system (and even then only if certain conditions are present). There
is nothing you can do to revert the upgrade.
