EVERY time I start the computer (Compaq Presario), I get
pop-ups from all sorts of other sites. This even happened
as I was entering Microsofts' site. How can I stop this
from happening as it is very irritating and a waste of
time ???
thanks Jim

Try downloading a spyware remover, such as AdAware or SpyBot.

Hi,

Spy/ad-ware installed on the system, some suggestions:

1) Install and run Adaware from www.lavasoft.de

2) Install and run Spyware Blaster from
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

3) Dump all TIF's and selectively delete unwanted cookies

4) Turn on the native firewall or install a third-party one
