I just bought a new computer with Win XP - Home Edition,
after using Win 98 for 4 yrs and have encountered 2
annoying problems.
1. I use several desktop icons and everytime that I
reboot the icons are all jumbled. I have tried the -right
click on desktop and checking the 'auto arrange' but that
doesn't help. I have looked everywhere and can't find the
answer. How do I lock in the icons in the position that I
put them in?
2. When I am connected,and I click on a link, the window
always open in the 'Restore Down' mode instead of
the 'maximize' mode. How do I get them to open maximized?
