windows explorer crashing

hello - has anybody been experiencing windows explorer
crashing? I've had this problem for quite some time and
it is quite annoying.

I'm computer savvy and have done the typical work-
around/fixes less reinstalling XP. I'm thinking that may
be the next step.

I just want to know if others have experienced this.
