How do you display all files in "My Computer" in list format. I have some music files and every directory is listed in tile format. I would like to put in a defau;t that will allow me view all the files and folders in list format. I could go through all
folders, but this would take hours. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In Windows Explorer choose View>List. You can also display the files as
tiles, icons, or in detail view. Instead of opening My Computer, just go
directly to Windows Explorer to manage your files.

Open Explorer and set the pane to list. Go to Tools> Folder Options> View>
Apply to all folders. Click OK.

Gary,
I can think of a few good ways to do that depending on what you really want
to accomplish.
The first way is to just doubleclick on a folder and then select
View/Details or View/List.
Or, you can open My Computer on the Desktop and then select the disk and
folder (My Computer) you want to look at. Then Right-Click and select
Explore. That will list your files in a list format.
Finally, you can also click Start and the find a blank spot and Right-Click,
select (Left-Click) Properties, Start Menu Tab, Customize button, and then
Advanced Tab, and the look under Start Menu Items and click on My Computer,
Display as menu.
Good luck,
Tom
