Can anyone tell me how to get to the desk top wall paper
so I can delete it? There are some things I want to be
able to delete, and some things I want to add. I found
that I can add one picture at a time by right clicking on
it and selecting "show as desktop background" but when I
change the picture to something else, it goes away and I
have to add it again. But to delete something, I cant
figure out how to get to it to delete it.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Dave,
The individual wallpapers provided with Windows are stored in
c:\WINDOWS\web\Wallpaper so you can add and remove wallpapers in that
directory. Also any image stored in your 'my pictures' folder in 'my
documents' will be made available as a wallpaper in the display properties.

Images in your My Pictures folder will be displayed as wallpaper choices as
well as the pictures under Windows\Web\Wallpaper. Display will list about
100 images from My Pictures.

"Show as desktop background" creates a temporary wallpaper as you've
discovered. If you find a picture that you like, place a copy of it into one
of the two locations above to have it available in Display> Wallpaper. When
you're tired of it, move it to a different folder where you save images or
delete it.
