View Full Version : No ICONs on DESKTOP
Craig A
February 25th 04, 03:03 PM
Here is one for you wizards.
This happened to me about a month ago and I reformatted
and started at square one. It just happened again this
morning.
I swear it happened before after an Update was installed
and this morn I got the Media Player update and installed
it. When I rebooted, I have just my Wallpaper, no Icons,
No task bar, nothing, if I right click, I get nothing. I
F8 ed into the Safe Mode and then tried to restore from a
point prior to updates, NOTHING. I mean it just sits there
with NO ICONS no TASK BAR just my wall paper, although the
Screensaver WILL kick in after the proper amount of time.
I am at work and any help would be much appreciated. My
computer is only 16 months old, was expensive and all has
been fine, until recently.
Thanks
Craig

Thanks Carey
What an awesome website you referred me to. I will try
it when I get home. Sounds like it will work.
Thanks again.
