Is is possible in XP to setup a folder that functions like "my documents"?
I have a subfolder on my e: drive that is 3 levels deep in the folder
structure, I would like to always have it as a top level click when I
launch file manager instead of having to navigate down to it each time.
I tried accomplishing what I wanted to do with shortcuts, but it did
function like "my documents".
Thanks

How about creating a Windows Explorer shortcut that directly opens your
folder? Create a shortcut to explorer.exe /e,<full path to your folder>.
For example explorer.exe /e,"C:\Level 1\Level 2\Level 3"

Hi Jay,
Several options to consider:
You can replace either My Pictures or My Music with a specialized folder of
your choice. It will behave as the above folders do as in cascading, etc.
Add Folder to Start Menu - Replace MP or MM (Line 2)

Or you can add a folder under Search and Run. Note: If you running an
OEM,it will replace their link.
Add a Folder Under the Run Command (Line 180)

And/or: Add a folder to My Computer, Desktop and Right Click (Start Button)
Add a Folder to My Computer and Desktop (Line 130)
Add a Folder to the Start Button - Right Click (Line 124)

Another option is adding a special folder to My Documents as a sub.

I added a shortcut to a favorite folder on my Quick Launch toolbar. Right
clicked on the folder and selected "Send To Desktop (createshortcut)."
Dragged the shortcut to QL. The folder is now one click away. I can use the
Folders button in the Standard toolbar to switch between tree view and
taskpane.
