Hello :)

I have a problem with XP Pro in that it 'throws away' some
attachments in my emails when I try to open them, it has
some kind of protection built in (?) that I have not found
out about, or how to turn off. I runa small business,
and also have another problem, in that I cannot open files
sent to me from the main business headquarters...

Could you please offer some solutions? Totally new to XP
Pro (am used to Apple), but had to have a windows based
system in order to communicate successfully with my peers
in the main office.

Thank you for any help you can provide. :)

Hello Rick...

Thanks for that answer...however, I am asking for a friend
who just got a new computer with XP Pro, as he has not
time to do so...when I sent him your answer, he sent this
back:

"do not allow attachments....." ??? Where is it, not in
Security.

Since we are many miles apart, and I have Win98se...it is
difficult to be of much help without being able to access
his computer...just trying to do him a favor :)
