When printing from my windows xp home edition computer to
my shared Compaq IJ650 printer on my other windows xp
home edition computer through a linksys dsl router the
print of the documents become really enlarged. Any ideas
on how to fix this problem would be great.

I have never heard of this happening before.... ever.

From what application are you printing on the first XP Home PC?

When I print from Internet Explorer 6.0. But when I print a printer test page it comes out OK.

Open Internet Explorer... from the Toolbar, select View, Text Size... reset
it to a smaller size.

Ensure Outlook Express is closed when you change the size.... since OE is
part of IE, if you make changes to IE while OE is open, they won't have any
effect.

One more try:

From the Control Panel, click on Printers & Faxes, then right click on the
printer in question and select Properties.

From the Advanced tab, select it to print direct to printer and not use the
print spooler. Then we can see if we can eliminate one of the potential
elements along the way.
