I have recently begun having strangeness with these 2
apps around the same time.

I cannot view an email attachment without first saving it
out of Outlook. I used to be able to just click on the
attachment and it would open, now the app will open but
Outlook tells me that "The system could not find the file
specified." I have to save all attachments out of Outlook
before I am able to open / view them.

Excel cannot open files by double clicking on them
anymore. I double click on an .xls file on my desktop and
Excel opens but the file will not. I have to use the
open command and navigate to my file everytime I want to
open anything.

How can I solve these 2 very annoying issues?

Thankx in advance!
