I have a private FTP server. Whenever I signed on from work I had to enter
a password. Since I did not want to enter the password everytime I wanted
windows to remember it so I checked remember password. I now want to remove
the password so others can not access my FTP server via my work computer
unless they enter a password. How do I get the dialog box to come back up
so I can uncheck the remember password. I tried the password removal in
internet explorer but that did not work.

Are you using IE to access the FTP site or are you using an FTP client
software package? If using IE you could logon onto the site. Then click
File->Login as and change the password to something else like 1234 and then
click the Save password box. That's only a work around but will at least
change the password so no one can uncover it.

If you are using IE when you FTP in delete your cookies and clear your
history. This has always reset any internet website passwords I have set.
