View Full Version : Show windows contents whilst dragging
Robin

Hi,
"Show Windows Contents whilst Dragging" will not stay ticked in "Display
Properties" even though it is ticked in "Performance Settings". How can I
make XP remember my settings? I have a Dell Dimension 8300 running XP Pro. I
saw what looked like the last thread of a post in this group entitled "
Windows Contents Whilst Dragging" and all it said was
Uninstall that waste of a time piece of crappy good 4 nothing Dell Media
Experience.
Dr. CyKuhTic is in office...
Is this maybe the problem, I missed all the threads prior to this one. Dr
CyKuhTic if you read this please reply.
Cheers
Rob

Hi Kelly,
Thanks for your reply mate. Unfortunately this did not work, after a reboot
the problem returned. Its ticked in System Properties/Advanced/Performance
but unticks itself from Display Properties. Looks like it may lie with Dell
Media Experience, but I'm reluctant to uninstall it as it's kinda useful
(Unless somebody knows otherwise).
Cheers Kelly

Rob,
Yes. It seems to be a Dell issue.
From a previous post by David Candy:

It's under the 'Advanced' tab in the 'System Properties' dialog. This can be accessed by either a
right-click on 'My Computer' and selecting 'Properties', or thru Control Panel.
