MS exchange access

I have just updated to XP.

I tried to use my adress book from WORD and I get error
message.

"You must log on to MS exchnage to access adress book.
Error Code unspecified error"

I am a stand-a-lone machine. I am not on a network. My
adress book is in OUTLOOK; I verified it.
