updates

i recently downloaded an update from microsoft update. it
was classified as an xp update, and i think tthat it
messed up one of my more important programs. does antbody
know how to uninstall an update? please help

Depends on the update. If it can be deleted, it can be deleted
from Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs.
