comp keeps lockin up!

i jus recently bought a brand new compaq but i have a
promblem. when i sign on to my user do my stuff (i.e. get
on the net play games etc.) and sign back off to let
another family member on about 1 out of 4 of the time
itll lock up... the screen will go blank and theres
nothin i can do besides unplug it to reboot it... whats
the problem?

If you are using fast user switching, try logging off instead.
