Hello, I have just formatted and reinstalled Windows XP
on my computer, and now whenever I start it up it says
there are two copies and asks me to choose which one I
want. First of all, I only installed one copy, but I
have had this problem before with another computer of
mine and someone told me about a way to make it so the 30
second timer reads 0 and it automatically takes you to
the first Windows XP on the list. I would be happy with
this, but I have forgotten how to do it... does anyone
know how?

Thanks

Bob;
You did not format and reinstall, at least not the partition the
original Windows was installed.
Try it again, this time be sure you delete all appropriate partitions:

Or you can follow this to edit the boot.ini

Change Timeout to 0
