problems with bundled adaptec easycd creator 4.0 after upgradfing to XP home

my adaptec easycd creator program will not work with XP
home after I upgraded. everthing else about XP has been a
marked improvement over ME!!! tried ti download patch
fixes for this (ie 4.02 and 4.05) but program spits out
did not find a qualifying program and cancels. I think I
have adaptec easy cd creator 4.0, it came with my
computer circa 2000?

Roxio Easy CD Creator 4 is not compatible with Windows XP. You need
to uninstall it and consider purchasing the new version 6.
