You can install XP on the D drive. During the setup
process you will get the option to select a partition to
install on. Choose your D drive and install on that. Then
when you boot up you will have the option of choosing your
OS. If you then decide to use XP and try and copy
everything from D to C you will have alot of problems. It
would be better to do a fresh installation.
So long as your brother has a copy that has not been
activated you will be fine. Cheers.
