Microsoft Video Driver OCA Triage

Sanal,
I have a few questions for you. After you updated your BIOS did you
select the option to restore Default Settings? Did you use a setup based
install for the driver you tried reinstalling? Here is a link to Intel's
latest driver just released
ftp://aiedownload.intel.com/df-support/7121/a08/win2k_xp141.exe
It is possible this will clear out any bad registry setting which were
preventing your current driver from loading
I don't have a lot of faith that these two options will work but I wanted
you to try them first. If they don't work please send me a zipped version
of your setupapi.log located at c:\windows\setupapi.log. To zip the file
right clicking on it -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder. Attach the
new file 'setupapi.zip' and send to I will get back to
you with my findings.
