Norton antivirus and XP

[LDP]

I installed 2004 NAV and it shows that it is working fine on one user screen but when I change to my user screen I get the error that auto-protect did not load and also it gives the error that my e-mail is not being scanned. How can this be? . Different
things from Norton show on the 2 screens.
Any help appreciated.

did you install it with an admin account? If no, uninstall and try again.
If yes, ask Symantec for help.

I had problems for days with it. My only option was to sell it at Ebay. I
contacted symnatec too and they couldn't figure out the problem either, "it
should be working" was there answer. If you get the same thing, sell it at
Ebay for a loss and pick up the McAfee Internet Security package. Works
great and easy to use.
