Check Disk

I have recently set my drive to do a scan disk on the
next boot up. My system has not run the utility and now I
cannot defrag my drive. When I try to defrag a message
comes up "Disk defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is
scheduled to run on the volume WinXP(C:). I would
appreciate any help on correcting this problem.

- scheduled tasks
- regedit:
